Ohayou ! This is my first and only blog. I am not really a bloggy person and I think I am the last remaining person in the world not having a blog. So here I am. For this first item I thought to tell you a little about myself.
I live in the Second Live Zarathud sim in a wonderful okiya called "Blue Lotus".
Let me start by telling you that the name Blue Lotus in its own already tells a lot about what happens at our okiya. When entering the Geisha school one starts at shikomi level which equals the Lotus flower bud stadium, not even coming out of the muddy bottom, but already having everything in itself for developing into one of the most beautiful flowers: the Lotus! The Geisha !
The Blue Lotus okiya is so much like the nutritious soil in wich a the lotus flower has its roots and from which it gets its beauty, its color and its fragrance and makes passing people stop to enjoy looking at it.
I was rezzed (SL born) as Qwerty Zenovka, with the intention to only have a brief look at second life. But watch me, after more than 2 years I am still there. When I became SL Maiko my Okasan Mikido Yoshikawa gave me the beautiful name Nariko. It is derived from "kaminari" (thunder) and "ko" (child) so being a child of thunder. She says she called me so because I have long periods of remaining silent but all the sudden I can let loudly hear my presence. So beware ! ;-)
To finish this first blog paragraph I add a Bakufu print of an Uguisu bird (well, maybe it is not really an uguisu, but I love to think it is one) sitting on a branch with red roses. This print so nicely illustrates my misedachi which was themed on roses and the uguisu.
Enough about myself now. Next time I'll tell you about the world around me.
